Founded in 2016 by Vishal Kanoria and Achal Agarwal, VKB Illuminators LLP was born from a clear insight — Tripura was an untapped market with enormous potential for solar and electrical products, and no one was serving it at scale.
Starting from the ground up, we built our presence brick by brick: earning the trust of customers, forging partnerships with Luminous, Exide, and Polycab, and growing a dealer network of 250+ partners across Northeast India. Those brand associations gave us a massive boost — and the customers who trusted us early made everything possible.
For the past one and a half years, we have been an empanelled vendor under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, completing over 155 solar projects across Tripura. We are now expanding our solar vertical into Kolkata as well — and with the continued trust of our customers, we believe the best is still ahead.
